The Museum's exhibitions and displays explore a broad range of subjects relating to childhood, from design, photography and fashion, to play and social issues. Major exhibitions, such as Beautiful Games, are large and feature hundreds of objects, interactive interpretation and multimedia. Displays and installations, such as 140th Anniversary of the Museum, are smaller-scale and can range in size from a single case to a room in the galleries.

Mascots of the Olympic Games
19 May – 28 October. A small display showcasing over 50 mascots from past summer and winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, including this year’s mascots, Wenlock and Mandeville.

14 July – 9 December. In celebration of the 350th anniversary of Mr Punch, the Museum will be showcasing a small display and an exhibition of Tom Hunter's portrait photographs.
